Fantastic and rare Space Age pendant lamp, Italy 1980s. Made of shiny red-orange metal with glass spheres of different sizes fixed inside the lamp dome.
Reminiscent of a large and wonderful medusa. The glass spheres are attached by metal chains to a star-shaped suspension device, which is located inside the lamp sphere.
Above each glass ball is a metal cap, some of which have minor flaws. In very good vintage condition, new wiring and new sockets for three small candelabra bulbs max. 40W.
Total height with chain (adjustable) is 110cm (43.3 inches).
