Item description
Sheraton sideboard by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis for Acerbis, 1970s (1977). Model winner of the Compasso D'oro in 1979, whose logo is present on the sideboard itself. In 1984 it was displayed in Tokyo at the exhibition "Design Furniture from Italy". Sideboard offered here is in laminate and Tanganyika walnut veneered wood; rare in this version with exposed wood. The cabinet has two sliding doors that uncover the central part where there are four drawers and two glass shelves. The uniqueness of the design lies precisely in the doors, which halfway through the opening from sliding to opening sideways revealing four additional glass shelves. Original in all its parts, it has small and slight inevitable signs of time (see photos).
