The Bambola armchair is part of the Le Bambole collection, an original design from 1972, awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. Timeless icons, one of the most significant expressions of Made in Italy capable of synthesising research and imagination. The Bambole have provided their own highly personal response to the theme of seating. What makes them special is the apparent absence of a supporting structure, the extreme naturalness of their form, the synthesis of comfort, softness and elasticity that their appearance communicates with effective clarity. Where the original construction was based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane, now the materials used are of the latest generation, starting with the second-life polyethylene that gives structure. A project in the name of sustainability thanks to the choices of materials and construction that allow the components of Le Bambole to be disassembled and therefore easily recyclable.
