Item description
Rare specimen of the bed collection designed by Gigi Sabadin in the 1970s for Stilwood, an iconic company, sensitive interpreter and witness of that period. Important designers have designed for Stilwood, including collaborations with Giovanni Ausenda, Roberto Pamio, Noti Massari, Renato Toso and Gigi Sabadin. The furniture of Sabadin, a designer and skilled craftsman who has been highlighted several times at exhibitions and cultural events, are timeless pieces in which deep knowledge of the material blends with touches of true poetry. The Andrea single bed features an X-shaped headboard and footboard in multilayer ash veneer. The headboard and footboard are joined to the supporting bed base made of metal mesh and exposed frame, painted white. The product is a display one and in excellent overall condition; there are small surface scratches on the frame paint.
