Item description

It was made in the 1940s from solid walnut and veneer. An absolute collector's piece! Original glass, lock and key! A catalogue piece, the Czech industrial designer, writer and educator Jindřich Halabala was an important advocate of modernist industrially produced furniture in Czechoslovakia and had an enormous influence on the furnishing of many Czech homes between and after the wars. Object completely restored and finished with hard oil. H 154 cm x W 148 cm x D 30 cm.
