Item description
Abate floor lamp by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Ibis, 1970s-80s. Structure in metal and black painted steel, base in shiny gray marble and lampshade in plasticized fabric with a matt finish on the outside and a glossy finish on the inside. There are few examples and they are all white; this one, with the cream and sienna colors, has never been seen on the market and is therefore quite rare. The peculiarity is the movement of the flexible external band, which thanks to two articulated arms can be opened or closed, creating various combinations of shape and brightness. Its wiring is compatible with that of the United States. It may show slight traces of use but overall it can be considered in excellent original condition. Maximum diameter of the lampshade: 50 cm. Minimum diameter of the lampshade: 25 cm. Depth of the lampshade: 38 cm. Total height: 173 cm. Base diameter: 20 cm. Base height: 12 cm.
