Particular wall unit made of rosewood and maple with grisaille details. This wonderful piece of furniture consists of a profiled rosewood wall that frames a series of pieces of furniture with different functions. At the bottom we have a sideboard with rosewood doors and maple inside, one of the doors is completely grissinized. At the top left we have two more compartments with flap doors and drawers, while on the right two shelves serve as bookcases, with two drawers underneath covered by a flap door. The style in terms of shape, materials and workmanship is reminiscent of the great names in design such as Ico Parisi, Vittorio Dassi, Osvaldo Borsani etc. Unfortunately, there is still no certain attribution, but the craftsmanship with which it was made denotes the conception by a great mind. Grissinatura is a special woodworking process that is achieved by carving the surface and creating a continuous series of thin stripes interspersed with spaces of equal size; this technique was often used by the great Italian designers of the 1950s/60s. The provenance is definitely Italian with a 1950s/60s style. The wall is made of rosewood with maple interiors and brass fittings. It is ideal for giving uniqueness to your rooms. The wall is in excellent state of preservation as shown in the photo, it may show slight signs of time.
