Item description
Sumptuous rectangular table in fine national walnut wood for use in a dining room or meeting room with space for ten seats, handcrafted in Brianza in the 1940s-50s. The base structure consists of four supports, placed at the four vertices, enriched with solid walnut carvings forming volutes and precious phytomorphic motifs. The four supports cooperate structurally with two relevant "supports," central to the top, which are entrusted with the weight of the precious honeycomb top. They harmoniously alternate between turned and carved sections and are connected inferiorly both with each other and with the four supports placed at the apexes. Perimeterwise, on the thickness of the top, there are rich carvings of the best Brianza tradition while the surface of the top boasts an elegant and precious composition of herringbone veneers. Display product in perfect condition. Ten chairs (not included in the price) are also available from the same series.
