Two-seater sofa by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti, 1970s. This leather sofa is in very good condition. The black leather is soft and supple and shows almost no signs of wear. There are two leather dents on the backrest but there is no leather damage there either. The seating comfort is impeccable, very relaxed. Thanks to the curved shape of the backrest it not only presents an unusual design but also allows for slight springing. Seat height: 38 cm. Seat depth: 50 cm.
This sofa, more a work of art than a useful object, was designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia in the 1970s. Since then this model has been one of the absolute classics of Italian furniture design. Sergio Saporiti founded the company in the 1950s and has since been known for timeless designer furniture that is far ahead of its time.
