Item description

Armchair mod. 4801 by Joe Colombo for Kartell, 1980s. Limited numbered series no. 217. Structure formed by assembling three polycarbonate elements and black rubber stops. Colombo was an extreme defender of the unity between structure and material. This armchair consists of three interwoven elements of molded plywood. The fluidity of this model's form foreshadows the designer's future plastic creations. Seat height: 30 cm.
