4 Chairs by Claudio Salocchi for Sormani, 1960s

Group of four chairs designed by Claudio Salocchi for the Luigi Sormani's firm Sormani, 1960s-70s. The structure is made of wood, the seat and distinctive backrest have been reupholstered with midnight blue alcantara. Elegant and with a distinctive silhouette, these chairs are ideal to accompany any dining or office table. Very good state of preservation: the upholstery has been replaced and the wood has no structural defects, only some slight signs of time as shown in the photos. Claudio Salocchi graduated from the Milan Polytechnic; in the 1960s he opened his own design studio and began a long and fruitful collaboration with the Sormani firm.
