Egg Chair armchair and pouf by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, 1980s-90s. Egg Chair has a structure made of polyurethane foam with fiberglass reinforcement. The padding foam and seat cushion are made of cold-formed polyurethane foam. Egg Chair has a tilt mechanism that can be adjusted according to the weight of the individual user. The tilt mechanism is made of steel and the adjustment handle is made of polished stainless steel. It has a base consisting of a central satin-finished swivel part made of welded tubular steel and an injection-molded aluminum base. The leg tips are made of black-grey synthetic material. Egg Chair is upholstered with Hallingdal fabric, composed of 70% virgin wool and 30% viscose. This armchair cover is not removable. The armchair is 110 cm high, 80 cm wide and 80 cm deep; the seat is 48 cm high. The pouf is 44 cm high, 56 cm wide and 43 cm deep. Attribution mark present.
