Very practical walnut bookcase consisting of twelve 30 cm deep walnut shelves, designed by Poul Cadovius and produced by Cado (Denmark) in the 1960s. The piece is a fine example of mid-century Danish joinery and is considered to be of the highest quality. This stunning modular wall cabinet is a beautiful addition to any room. Equipped with twelve large 30 cm deep shelves with the words "made in Denmark" engraved on the back. It also provides plenty of space to store larger albums and magazines. The shelves are conveniently hung on three black painted uprights, each 200 cm long, with black metal brackets (twenty-four in total). The rich walnut wood grains contrasted with the black details make it look like a sculpture on any wall.
The bookcase has been carefully checked: all the components fit together well; the wood and all the black parts were renewed with Danish oil and other professional products. Some very slight traces of wear are left consistent with the age of the furniture. Overall, it is in original vintage condition with minor traces of use.
