Item description

Michelangelo PISTOLETTO painted the sea shoreline on the Laleggera chair, designed by Riccardo BLUMER for ALIAS. On each of the chairs that make up the work, a section of the shoreline of a particular geographical area is represented, in this case the Mediterranean Sea, as indicated on the certificate signed by the artist under the chair. The present examples are numbers 46 and 49, placed in the position indicated on the map on the packaging and on the bottom of the chair.
