Four porcelain wall plates from the 1970s designed by Piero Fornasetti especially for Fiat, depicting Turin monuments and cooking recipes. The black, white and gold colours are a Fornasetti trademark. They are marked on the bottom and in excellent vintage condition. Piero Fornasetti (1913-1988) was an Italian designer known for his distinctive and whimsical designs, often featuring surreal and decorative motifs. Fornasetti used high quality porcelain for his creations. Porcelain is known for its smooth texture and is ideal for displaying intricate designs. Fornasetti's pieces, especially those from the 1970s, are considered collectors' items; this set is part of a limited edition and has unique features that contribute to its value and desirability among collectors.
