Item description
Laccio B10 coffee table by Marcel Breuer for Gavina, 1964. It is in excellent condition considering its age. It shows minimal signs of use, normal surface scratches. It was designed by Breuer during his years at the Bauhaus school. The structure is made of chromed Mannesmann bent steel, the practical top shelf is made of white formica; the latter is made of bilaminate with an MDF inner core. The thickness of the top is 20 mm. The Gavina company was absorbed by Knoll International at the end of 1969. This production was due to the foresight of the Romagna entrepreneur Dino Gavina, who in the early 1960s acquired the rights to the artifacts designed by the Hungarian architect. The Laccio model is currently produced in its two versions B9 and B10 by the American company.
