4 Steel chairs by Giotto Stoppino for Kartell, 1970s
SILVER Seller in Modena, Italy
Four chairs designed by Giotto Stoppino during his collaboration with Kartell. An example of iconic mid-century Italian design. Giotto Stoppino was an architect and a forerunner of design, awarded 3 times with the most authoritative prize, the Compasso d'Oro. Completely restored and reupholstered, the chairs were revisited by opting for a high-quality, snake-print velvet for the seat and a black velvet for the back. Foam and straps were also replaced. All steel frames have been carefully treated and polished. The chairs have all rubber feet. The condition is excellent.
