Item description

Burnished and gilded bronze table clock with a refined architectural cathedral shape made in France in the early 19th century. Rectangular support structure with multiple orders of decorations. The front part is embellished with two high gilded bronze columns with a portal-like structure in the centre, in the lower part, and the circular clock dial in the upper part. The structure is designed to simulate the facade of a Gothic cathedral. Rear part with circular opening to allow access to the clock mechanism. Complete with key, in working order.
