Set consisting of Svane sofa, daybed and pair of coffee tables by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes, 1960s-70s. A true embodiment of Norwegian minimalism and purity, this teak set can complement a space both day and night. The set includes a daybed, a three-seater sofa, a corner table and a coffee table with a functional lower shelf that offers ample space for storing books, magazines or board games. The daybed and sofa feature a sleeping function when fully opened, along with a compartment underneath for sheets and blankets. The coffee table is conveniently equipped with wheels for easy mobility. The solid teak structure, combined with the new natural wool upholstery woven with a delicate dark and light gray pattern, exudes simplicity and elegance, a classic feature of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. Suitable for any mid-century modern style living room, office or lounge. The set is in excellent vintage condition and its authenticity is confirmed by the original Ekornes stamp. Furthermore, it has been carefully inspected, making sure that all mechanisms work properly. The old upholstery was replaced with completely natural wool fabric, the foam and wood were refreshed with Danish oil. Some very slight signs of use are visible on the wood which attest to the age of the set. The daybed is 82 cm high, 192 cm wide and 71 cm deep; the seat is 41 cm high. The three-seater sofa is 82 cm high, 190 cm wide and 71 cm deep; the seat is 42 cm high. The corner table is 38 cm high, 70 cm wide and deep. The coffee table on wheels is 43 cm high, 80 cm wide and deep.
