This classic mid-century freestanding Italian wall bookcase perfectly embodies the timeless design of the 1970s. Crafted from mahogany and teak, it showcases a rich wood grain pattern. The beautiful brass hardware highlights the Italian origin. It is equipped with two large cabinets: one with functional inside compartments which can become either a perfect desk to create a work station at home or a spacious bar compartment, depending on your preferences; the second has a small lockable compartment and three drawers, offering organized space for smaller items or documents. Additionally, six deep shelves provide enough space for books and decorations. The side panels made of solid wood ensure excellent stability and longevity. The genius of its design lies in its functionality: the shelves and cabinets are modular and can be positioned wherever you want; higher, lower or even swap them (the arrangement shown is just an example). It has another key feature: the back side is also veneered, which makes this bookcase a perfect room divider. The folding cabinet (desk or bar compartment) with lock is 50 cm high, 80 cm wide and 40 cm deep; Depth when fully open: 83 cm. The cabinet with three drawers is 49 cm high, 80 cm wide and 40 cm deep; the three drawers are 13 cm high and 37.5 cm wide. The six shelves are 80 cm wide and 35 cm deep. The three solid wood side panels measure 216 cm. The bookcase has been checked and is in excellent vintage condition. All mechanisms work correctly and smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds. The brass hardware has been polished. Two original keys are included (one for the bar compartment and one for the lower door). Small natural signs of use are left which do not ruin the aesthetics of the furniture and only confirm its originality.
