SILVER Seller in Milano, Italy
A vintage ceramic vase, in the shape of a stepped sphere. Due to its style, finishes and state of conservation, it probably dates back to the early 1970s. Its irregular shape clearly shows that it was made by hand, and it was also hand-painted: the brown dot pattern on the creamy white main layer is carefully crafted but is also visibly irregular. The vase has no attribution marks, engravings or labels, but is still a truly beautiful example of the 1970s design aesthetic. It is preserved in immaculate condition, with virtually no signs of age. Diameter 20 cm.
