Cubic fiberglass coffee table by Gruppo Strum, 1970s. This rare coffee table belongs to the original furniture of the Piper Club in Turin, Italy, a legendary club for rock and contemporary art performances. The club, designed according to the principles of radical architecture, was furnished with custom-made pieces. Its architects, Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso, were the founders of Gruppo Strum, an important Italian radical design group. The coffee table is in overall good condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use, some scratches and small dents.
