Item description
Minimalist one-bay oak bookcase with sliding doors, designed by Poul Cadovius. He is one of the designers whose modular shelving systems had a profound effect on mid-century design in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. This fully modular shelving system combines a minimalist design and offers storage space in a spacious cabinet with three shelves for books and small items. The cabinet has four internal shelves that can be adjusted to any height. The light oak frame adds warmth to any entrance, living room or bedroom. The oak systems are among the rarest in Cado's production. The components of the wall system can be arranged as desired. Each part can be moved every 4.5 cm up or down. The configuration shown is only an example. It is a wonderful example of the highest quality of mid-century Danish design, combining elegance, minimalism and functionality with craftsmanship. The wall unit consists of: a cabinet: with sliding doors H: 51,5 / W: 80 / D: 46 cm; 2 shelves: W: 80 / D: 22 cm; a shelf: W: 80 / D: 30 cm; 2 wooden rails. The wall unit has been checked by our team. It is in excellent condition vintage. The original 'Made in Denmark' engraving is preserved, confirming the authenticity of the set. The wood has been refreshed with professional compounds.
