Ado Furlan (Udine 1905-1971) was an important but yet to be rediscovered Italian sculptor of the 20th century. The Ado Furlan Foundation exists in Pordenone. The proposed sculpture represents a sleeping infant. The work is signed 'Furlan' engraved on the terracotta. The black wooden base is original. The side of the wooden base is 24x30 cm, the sculpture is 22x21x21 cm. The total height is 28 cm.
