Item description

Glazed stone and reinforced plaster sculptural reproduction of the "Seated male portrait" of Vittorio Alfieri made by Pompeo Marchesi (circa 1840), 1940s-50s. Signature on the base "Ariodante Botta di ce...". It has an edge repaired in gold leaf (see photo). Really heavy.
