Danish wall unit with bar cabinet or concealed desk made of teak in the 1960s. It is closely related to the famous designs of Poul Cadovius and Preben Sorensen from the same period (the works of both designers feature a similar assembly system and joinery). This vintage teak wall cabinet features a functional drop-leaf cabinet with practical space for laptops and documents and four shelves supported by brass hangers and mounted on solid wood rails. The cabinet consists of: secretariat with lockable flap doors. Key included - H: 40 / W: 70 / D: 31 cm (fully open - 64 cm deep); 4 shelves - W: 70 / D: 20 cm; 4 wooden rails: 100 cm long; brass hangers. This shelving system is modular. Since all elements are 70 cm wide, they can be arranged as desired. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We checked that the door mechanism works properly and that all parts fit together. The set has been renovated. We lightly restored the surface of the wood and applied an additional layer of Danish oil to nourish and enhance the wood grain.
We left small, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics and confirm its originality. We are trying to restore it to its best appearance, always considering that it is more than 60 years old.
