A striking transparent and opalescent Murano glass chandelier designed and produced in Murano by Mazzega in the 1970s. The glass is in perfect condition and the gilded metal parts are also in excellent condition; it is in working order. Mazzega, a renowned Murano glassworks, was active during the mid-20th century and produced a series of beautiful glass chandeliers. This Cascade chandelier features a tiered and layered design in which white Murano glass elements cascade, creating a dynamic and visually striking effect. The chandelier incorporates brass for structural elements. Gold metal was a popular choice in the mid-century period. This striking fixture can be adapted to both classic and modern décor.
