Item description

Carved wooden cradle with wrought iron decoration, early 20th century. The twisted columns end on feet decorated with masks. On one of them the column continues upwards and ends with a floral decoration made of wrought iron. The cradle is mounted on pins which allow for cushioned oscillation in both directions by an iron blade which acts as a spring. The bottom is woven net. Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish.
