Mahogany structure with maple thread on the top, which opens like a book to reveal an internal surface lined in red cloth, for playing cards. Can also be used as a console. Restored and polished with shellac and spirit. New cloth. Measurements when open 82x82xh76. English production, Victorian era, 19th century.
