Sofa and pair of armchairs mod. Nido by Francesco Nale for Lev&Lev Milan, late 1970s. Very rare item for the time and for the high type of set-up, a version for true connoisseurs of Italian design. The set is composed of three pieces (a sofa and two armchairs), was made 50 years ago in Brianza by the best Italian upholsterers, and this version is very rare because it is upholstered not with the usual leather but rather with natural (full-grain) and thick "cuoio" leather, with visible stitching that marks the effect of the material's live cut. A type of manufacture that is still very modern today (it is very reminiscent of the leather and hide workmanship of Mario Bellini's "Le Bambole" model and "CAB"). Padding made of genuine goose down. In excellent condition, the set shows only a few signs of wear such as small scratches or speckles that give the natural color of the "cuoio" leather a worn look to the point; this is because it has been used very little and especially well preserved, considering its 50 years of life. The sofa is 70 cm high, 223 cm wide and 86 cm deep. The armchairs are 70 cm high, 83 cm wide and 86 cm deep.
