Splendid Italian sculpture from the mid-20th century. Finely chiselled and patinated alabaster work depicting a majestic Eagle with painted glass eyes. A fabulous item for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of sculptures depicting animals. Finished centrepiece sculpture, of considerable weight (given the material used) ideal for display above a desk or chest of drawers. Work in beautiful patina with minor signs of ageing. Structurally sound, overall in good state of preservation.
