Metal floor lamp with flying saucer-shaped shade, 1970s. It is a lamp in stainless steel, chrome and painted metal. The flying saucer shade is painted in creamy white and clearly identifies the piece as a Space Age artifact. A smaller chrome metal disk under the lampshade helps diffuse the light. The lamp is not signed but recalls many pieces of the time, including the lamps of the famous designer Goffredo Reggiani. It is extremely well preserved, has been lightly polished with a metal brush to restore its original shine and is in perfect working condition. The wire, plug and switch are all original and the standard is European (220-240V). The dimensions are indicative, as they vary depending on the position in which the lamp is adjusted.
