Opaline plexiglass and steel table/desk lamp, 1970s. It is a wonderful example of Space Age design and fits in many contexts: it is a perfect desk lamp but also looks good on a bedside table, it is perfect on a sideboard but also goes well with a coffee table. To make things more interesting, the lamp can also rotate around its chrome stem, allowing it to illuminate a large area around the base. It is fully functioning and in excellent aesthetic condition with only minor and predictable signs of time. Its plexiglass shade looks the same as a glass one but makes it less fragile and less stressful to move and set up.
