    Item description

    Reclining armchair by Giulio Moscatelli for Formanova, 1960s. Recently professionally upholstered with denim-like polka dot fabric. Perhaps based on Osvaldo Borsani's P40 armchair, designed for Tecno about a decade earlier, this armchair is equally rare and fascinating. With its slender legs and elegant armrests, it cuts a fine figure; the new upholstery, with a polka dot fabric expertly combined with the sides of the chair to obtain a seamless result, makes it very contemporary. The foam inside is in excellent condition, as is the reclining mechanism, operated by a lever on the side of the chair. The original Formanova label is still clearly visible (see photos). Seat height: 40 cm.
