    Item description

    Sculptural Space Age table lamp in steel and glass, early 1970s. It is made with a very high level of craftsmanship, as can be seen from the precise bending of the steel components, the high-quality bolts and the finely frosted Murano glass shade. The high weight also confirms the impression of handling a high-quality design piece. The lamp is fitted with two E27 sockets, with the internal wiring concealed in the hollow steel rods that support the sockets; a single cable discreetly emerges from under one rod. The wiring is entirely original, including switch and plug, and has been checked by a professional electrician. Perfect functioning is assured. Overall, the condition of the piece is excellent. As it is mostly made of stainless steel, only a light and uniform patina is visible; on the chrome parts there is a heavier patina but it does not affect the overall appearance of the lamp in any way. Although it is not signed, the piece is an outstanding example of a very special design era.
