Item description

Sculptural dining table mod. Sarpi by Carlo Scarpa for Simon Gavina, 1970s (designed in 1974). It is similar to the Doge, Scarpa's other stainless steel dining table, but in this case the legs appear to be "upside down", giving a unique, sculptural touch to the piece. This table is part of the original production (not a reissue) and is in original condition. It is well preserved but has signs of age, including traces of oxidation and patina on the stainless steel legs. The glass top is also in good condition, with no signs of chips on the edges and with predictable scratches on the surface.
