Item description
Beautiful Torso 654 armchair in grey felt and Geometry 4Q fabric, designed by Paolo Deganello for Cassina in 1983. Armchair made with a special upholstery in a combination of colours and materials in Double System. Light grey felt fabric for the seat with two armrests. For the large wave backrest a special multicolour geometric fabric, Geometry 4F, designed by the great American textile designer Jack Lenor Larsen (1927-2020). Minimal signs of use. A few small spots on the fabric, barely visible, some minimal piling here and there. Only a very small tear of a few centimetres in the under seat part of the fabric, near one leg, which can easily be picked up. It is not visible and does not affect its beauty or use. Otherwise, it is OK. The chair is over 40 years old and is in excellent condition, given its age, always kept with great care. Legs intact and well cleaned. Very beautiful. From 1966 to 1972 he worked with Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti and Massimo Morozzi in the firm Archizoom Associati, which they founded. He continued his private practice as an architect and designer in Milan, with assignments at home and abroad. Width 109 cm x depth 90 cm x height 116 cm / seat height 43 cm.
