Pair of Hombre armchairs by Burkhard Vogtherr for Rosenthal, 1970s. Black wooden structure and black leather upholstery in very good condition. The leather of the cushions and backrests shows almost no signs of wear and is soft and elastic. The solid wooden backrests show slight signs of wear. A scratch on the right armrest of one of the armchairs has been treated. This model is the low-back version. Rosenthal, known as one of the most important porcelain manufacturers in the world, decided in the 1970s to have some furniture designed by well-known designers and market it under the Rosenthal brand name. This gave rise to some design icons of the 1970s, including the Hombre collection, designed by Burkhard Vogtherr. Seat height: 42 cm. Seat depth: 50 cm.
