Silver-plated metal bas-relief with a running chariot by Argenteria Guido Galbiati (Milan), mid-20th century. Ebonized and gilded wooden frame. Size without frame: 29 x 39 cm. The work is in very good condition, as can be seen from the attached photos. It shows light and negligible traces of age and use visible in the photos. Argenteria Guido Galbiati has a history deeply rooted in the Italian artisan tradition, with beginnings dating back to 1908 in Milan. The foundation of the company carries the vision of its founder, who wanted to incorporate his initials into the company brand alongside the image of a bee, a symbol of industriousness and creativity.
