Sideboard by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for Cassina, 1960s. Charles Rennie Mackintosh (Glasgow, June 7, 1868 - London, December 10, 1928) was a Scottish architect, designer and painter. A member of the so-called Glasgow movement, he was the most important exponent of Art Nouveau in the United Kingdom; for some, however, he is considered one of the precursors of this movement.
