Work entitled Racconto Giallo by Giacomo Figus. Painting created with the use of thin wooden boards shaped to fit together almost to create a puzzle and subsequently painted. Original and innovative, the technique used allows the author to express a story in its entirety. The numerous joints give life to figures within figures which make the work a perennial discovery. The artist shapes the wood as if he were a luthier, among other things the use of violins is extensive in his works, the shape is used to give life to new figures. The work is signed on the back and dated 2006, it was exhibited during an exhibition in a contemporary art gallery in Turin. Particular and eclectic, this painting is ideal as an investment as the author is still alive and is highly appreciated for his innovative techniques. The painting is in excellent conservative conditions. Giacomo Figus is a Genoese artist who then moved to Turin where he dedicated himself to printing, producing editions of the work of Giacomo blowers, Abacuc, Aimo and many others. His works have been exhibited in various exhibitions, one in particular, a bronze, is exhibited at the GAM in Turin.
