Item description
Teak vanity table/chest of drawers with mirror by La Permanente Mobili Cantù, 1950s. Its aesthetic uniqueness lies in the original design with the soft, sculptural forms of the structure and the tapered side legs finished with adjustable brass feet. Overall, the structure is very solid and stable and has a large drawer unit on the right side and a single drawer on the left, both topped by a beautiful shelf made of white Carrara marble. On the right is an open compartment solidly attached to the back, while the single drawer on the left is surmounted by a finely decorated mirror with a brass perimeter border, also equipped with brass-plated feet that, grafted onto the back, rest frontally on the marble top resulting solidly fixed in its position. The furniture has been recently polished with shellac and is truly in excellent vintage condition as the photos show.
