6 Von Vogelsang chairs by Philippe Starck for Driade, 1980s
SILVER Seller in Bari, Italy
Set of six Von Vogelsang chairs by Philippe Starck for Driade, 1980s (designed in 1985). They are made of tubular steel and perforated steel sheet painted in grey. They are chairs with a minimalist design, extremely comfortable. The model was designed for the Rothschild cafés and owes their name to a science fiction character from the book Ubik. They are in good vintage condition; the metal has a beautiful patina. Seat height: 43 cm. Bibliography: Christine Colin, Starck, Pierre Mardaga Editeur, p. 262.
