Item description

Napoleon III Thuja-root liquor box (cave à liqueur) made in France in the 19th century. Bois de rose thread inlay, mother-of-pearl and brass inlays. Rosewood inside with gilt bronze bottle and glass holder basket. The box consists of four glass bottles finished in gold (one of which is partially damaged, see detail photos) and fourteen small glasses (out of sixteen), one of which lacks the base (see detail photos). It is sold restored in the wooden part for 2200 euros or in its current state for 1600 euros (for more information contact the seller).
