Rare roll-top center desk model 804 designed by Gianfranco Frattini and produced by the Bernini company in Italy in the 1960s.
The desk is an iconic piece of Italian design. The piece of furniture can be used both as a desk and as a chest of drawers and small bookcase.
The bunk features a mechanism that allows the roll-top to be easily pulled out, concealed, while simultaneously opening the roll-top. This cabinet has ample organization space being equipped with 10 drawers in the front, several small sliding drawers behind the top, and 4 adjustable shelves in the back. The desk top is upholstered in cognac-colored leather that lends, to the cabinet, elegance and brightness. The desk is of excellent workmanship as are all products from the Bernini company.
The cabinet is made of solid wood and rosewood veneer. The legs and are connected by aluminum bars on both the front and back sides. The handles are made of chrome-plated metal. On the inside of the desk is the original Bernini sticker, which guarantees its authenticity as well as the year of production that allows for exact dating.
