Sideboard with bar compartment/bar cabinet by Osvaldo Borsani for Atelier Borsani Varedo, 1950s. Part of a complete living room set (large sideboard with mirror, dining tables, and six chairs) all by Borsani (solid mahogany, rosewood, brass and solid maple wood, seen on our profile page). Solid wood structure (maple and mahogany) veneered with fine rosewood. Brass feet and keys. Product of excellent Italian manufacture. The cabinet consists of four fine drawers, a black flap door and an elegant sliding door system. The bar compartment part is made of fine solid maple with brass and glass columns in classical style. Completely restored respecting the original product and materials: the wood has been treated against pests; the structure repaired and reinforced; the surface has been refinished and refined, restoring the original and unique touch of polished finish; the brass parts have been cleaned and polished; all opening systems have been revised and are functional. Excellent condition with few signs of time.
