Item description

Antique Neapolitan Luigi Filippo scissor desk in mahogany feather, belonging to the first half of the 19th century. The front is characterised by five drawers identifiable by round wooden openings typical of the place of origin. The underside band, in addition to encompassing the three drawers, has a board that can be pulled out by means of a knob. The feet are scissor-like and the face opposite the main one is finished as a centrepiece. Unrestored, but in excellent condition. Provenance: 19th century Naples. Measurements: 110x60 cm, H 83 cm.
