Item description
Extendable rosewood table by Johannes Andersen for Hans Bech (Denmark), 1960s. Known as mod. 10, the table is made of solid rosewood with a sculpted frame and tapered, pointed legs. The elegant, soft and organic lines, the curvature of the structure and the beautiful wood grains make it an extremely elegant dining table, exemplifying mid-century Danish style. Solid carpentry and attention to detail are evident everywhere, as in the spearhead detail that finishes the legs and in the functional extensions cleverly and elegantly hidden inside. These details not only add aesthetic appeal and functionality but also showcase craftsmanship through precise, thoughtful joinery and design. This table will add style and class to any dining room, drawing attention with its eye-catching shape and high-quality rosewood. Our team took special care to ensure a delicate restoration while maintaining the authenticity of this vintage jewel. The wood was cleaned and new paint was applied. It is in excellent condition. The table is equipped with two 54 cm extension leaves each stored inside. Height to the table top: 63 cm.
