Item description

Commemorative plaster bas-relief, 1920s-30s. Probably original cast for bronze castings. It depicts King Vittorio Emanuele III and Benito Mussolini with eagle and fasces; it bears the inscription "His Excellency Benito Mussolini President of the Council - His Majesty King of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III". Signed Marinelli (probably cast attributable to the Marinelli foundry in Florence). Complete with original chestnut frame.
