Delta 2000 armchair by Wilkhahn, 1960s. Next generation example with leather-covered armrests in a deep black shade, brushed aluminum and black shells, in excellent condition. The leather is flawless, the plastic body and aluminum base show only minimal signs of wear. The armchair swivels. A design classic from the 1960s that can be used as an office, conference or dining room chair. More than 100 years ago the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946, contacts were made with Deutsche Werkstätten and the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture. The Delta 2000 model was designed by the Delta group in 1968. Seat height: 47 cm. Seat depth: 45 cm.
